Glass Art

Pets, doodles, and keepsakes

Glass art projects

In 2024, Deb visited Assisi, in Italy, feeling drawn to going there but not really knowing why. She then discovered Margaret Rose, her Reiki master, was in the process of booking a retreat there herself – they had no idea each other was thinking of going there! Another serendipitous event later and Deb found herself booking a trip to Assisi too.

While mooching about, on a rainy day, Deb saw a gallery full of glass art which turned out to be by a famous local artist, Massimo Cruciani. Having always liked stained glass windows, this was different as he paints onto the glass rather than cutting and soldering.

This led to trying it out herself, once home, and from there developing a new hobby, personalised gifts, and some cat commissions! (She’s branching out to dogs next…) 🙂

Deb is self-taught and still learning but if you would like to discuss a pet project, or if you have a favourite drawing a child has done that could be turned into a glass keepsake (like the one pictured below) then contact Deb Harding (pictured here with Binksy, who passed in January 2025, and has a glass dedicated to him below) on the following:

Some of these projects took time to do as I’m learning techniques while I go.

If you would like to order a personalised keepsake, especially if it is for a gift with a deadline of a birthday or anniversary, do allow time for it to be made.

A month or longer would be ideal – that’s not to say it will take that long but if needed in a hurry it may affect the pricing.
